Tim became a public relations consultant following a career in sports and news journalism. As one of Yorkshire’s leading PR professionals, Tim has earned a reputation for providing innovative solutions to business communications needs.

Tim’s projects range from supporting major property developments to the launch of an appeal which helped a children’s charity to raise its profile and achieve its fundraising target.

His clients include Land Securities - the UK’s leading retail property and investment company - and leading building materials supplier Tarmac.

Jim Wilson, Managing Director

Jim founded Polo PR following 12 years with the BBC, for whom he covered news and current affairs assignments for both TV and radio. As a broadcast journalist, Jim contributed regularly to regional and national TV and radio, including BBC Radio 4’s ‘Today’ programme.

Utilising his media experience, Jim now provides assistance on corporate, commercial and environmental issues. Jim has also developed a range of proactive PR initiatives for progressive companies in a range of industries.
